"Take A Class For Life"
Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs. Certified by American Safety and Health Institute.
Please make sure you are CPR/AED certified prior to signing up for the class. If you need, you can also get CPR certified during the class for an additional fee.
Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old

Allergies and Anaphylaxis
Bone and Joint Injuries
Wounds and Wound Infection
This course goes far beyond what you may know as “first aid.” While it contains substantial medical information and teaches skills required for medical emergencies in the wild, the deeper purpose is to train participants to manage acute situations.
The bottom line is this: Better decision-making at the incident scene miles from base facilities can save valuable time and human resources. It can save lives, too.
