To take part of our lifeguarding class the student must be at the minimum age of 15, and also must pass the all of the following:
300 yards of free and/or breaststroke
A surface dive to a depth of 7–10 feet
Returning to the surface with a 10-pound object
Swimming 20 yards back to the starting point
Treading water without the use of arms for 2 minutes
On the first day of the lifeguarding class the student should bring:
1) Bathing suit
2) Towel
3) Notebook
3) Bring lunch and snacks
Optional:
1) Lifeguard manual
Free Items for all students:
For this class to begin, there must be 5 or more students registered for this class.

Students gain a wide variety of skills and knowledge including how to enjoy the pool safely, First Aid and CPR, water rescue techniques, the importance of keeping physically fit, and other topics related to lifeguarding. This valuable experience builds self confidence and skills for life.
The content of our lifeguarding program includes pool lifesaving techniques and procedures, First Aid and CPR, and the development of swimming skills.
Our Instructors are a team of aquatic professionals who provide a fun and safe aquatic education to the students of Nassau County and Suffolk county through developing confidence, mental and physical fitness and respect for one another. The Program is managed by a Lifeguard Training Instructor.
Blended Learning classes
Some of our lifeguarding classes are taught in the Blended Learning format.

Is it easy to remember how to do CPR and use an AED?
We broke down CPR/AED into a very simple chart. Most students have a easy time remembering this chart. You can print it out and keep it in your wallet. Click here to download our CPR chart.
What is Blended Learning?
Some of our lifeguarding classes are run as Blended Learning. Blended Learning is where the students do part of the classes online and the rest is in person.
Upon completion of the lifeguarding course the student will receive a NYS DOH approved lifeguard certification via email.
These certifications will include:
1) Lifeguarding (2 year certification)
2) CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer (1 year certification)
3) First Aid (2 year certification)
Optional: Waterfront Lifeguarding (2 year certification)
All our classes are on the New York State Department Of Health approved list
Digital certificate available upon successful completion of course.
We teach this NYS DOH approved Lifeguarding course in Nassau County, Suffolk County Long Island and in Brooklyn NY.
